meetings
We want to try a new concept for the international meetings. We met for three small workshop meetings with 10-18 participants, while we
want to organize two big workshop meetings for 80 students. We believe that getting more students together in a meeting can have a
synergetic effect on networking, friendships and the involvement back home. The big meetings did not take place at the schools but in a
remote group accommodation to give all students much time together and the students of the hosting country the opportunity to stay with the
guests. The host cared for arrangements whereas the guests also organized and offer the workshops.

First meeting: Italy, Senigallia.
5th-8th July 2021.
During this first meeting, the teachers worked on preparing the whole project (meetings, goals and workshops) with the students back home. They also shared good teaching practices.

Second meeting: Germany, Black Forest
April 2022.
For this first transnational meeting called "Being responsible" we focused on our responsibility to reduce inequality, to work towards good health and well-being, gender equality and responsible consumption.
We had a clear structure and agenda and students worked very motivated in the different workshops. And they communicated a lot during the whole time. They have learned from each other and built up a strong community.
Our setting with internationally mixed rooms brought all participants even closer together.
Although we were provided with healthy food, the covid and snow left their mark on the project (several students fell ill), and still, on the last day the eyes of all participants were moved and emotional.

Third meeting: Bulgaria
June 2022.

Fourth meeting: Spain
April 2023

Fifth (and last!) meeting: Croatia
1st-5th July 2023
On our last transnational meeting called "Yes, we can" we focused on sustainable cities and communities through different activities. All the links are in the page of results. Here is a short summary of the activities we carried out:
1. The first activity was an icebreaker activity “WSOF Alias” (a game played in pairs/teams where the objective is to explain words to each other). All the words in the game were connected to our project and Agenda 2030.
2. Promotional video - students were explained how to shoot a promotional video (use existing photos, shape new ones in different interesting ways; use the project song). They worked in pairs/groups and they planned and chose the photos and the videos related to the goals of the 2030 Agenda to create the promotional video.
3. A board game on Agenda 2030 was played which enabled better understanding of sustainable development goals.
4. Sustainable planet/island (workshop) - the task was to design a completely new planet/island/continent/country; to think about a way of life of its inhabitants, set ten rules by which the inhabitants will have to live (according to the goals of Agenda 2030), make a poster of the island/the continent and the set rules.
5. Public campaign (workshop) - students designed a public campaign in groups according to some of the problems that are related to the goals of the 2030 Agenda. Their task was to come up with the name of the campaign, the slogan, the messages of the campaign, who it will be for, what they want to achieve with the campaign, how long it would last, what media would be used to inform people and encourage them to participate in the campaign. The main idea of the activity was to think about the things we want to change/improve in the world/society with the campaign.
